So, here is my pin of the day. One night, when I was at work, our two year old decided to climb out of her crib for the first time. And just like that my husband decided right then and there to convert her crib into the day bed. Which was fine I guess, a little rushed as I was not prepared for this big transition.
 The only thing was, was that I found the bed too high and was afraid she'd fall out. Conveniently enough, a few days later I saw this on pinterest. We decided to give it a go and build her a toddler bed. We added a headboard and some side rails. Pictures to come soon!

Here is my post of the day. A delicious alcoholic beverage for warmer summer and fall nights. I know the picture isn't the greatest, but since my camera is unavailable at the moment I used my the camera on my iPhone.
My phone is the first one that came out. I can't even get updates on it...needless to say the camera quality is terrible.
Here is the recipe.
1 Bottle of Rose White Zinfandel
1/2 C Strawberry Schnapps
1/4 C Sugar
Sliced Strawberries

 Chill for an hour and add ice cubs. So good, and looks pretty too.

Contact Paper Collage

So I want to try and post one thing a day, every day and only things I have tried my self. The photo above, I tried with my two year old and her little friend. They had a blast finding things all over the yard to stick to the contact paper. The blog also had tons of other great ideas. There is still a little bit of nice weather left, and this would definitely be a good fall project!! I'll try to post pictures of my own things as I go but as of right now, I'm still searching for my camera charger. Have a good day everyone!

Artichoke and Spinach Dip

This is the best artichoke and spinach dip I have ever had. My mouth is watering thinking about. The only thing I changed was I used a little extra cream cheese and I bought garlic alfredo sauce, instead of the plain alfredo sauce. Quick to make and the kids loved it too. I made it just cause but it would no doubt be a hit at any party.

So, a few months ago, while planning a friends baby shower, my co-host introduced me to pinterest. She had so many great ideas and told me to check it out. So I did, and I have not regretted on single minute. There are so many great ideas and projects, not to mention a few LOLs. I use it to find new books to read and for different recipes. Some things have worked out really well, some I've adjusted to my liking. Lots have been a learning experience, and that's one of my favourite parts. I thought it might be fun to start a blog posting things that I have tried personally, that other's may find interesting.
